1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
All of it! A fabulous country with such a huge range of things to experience, with warm and friendly people, amazing sights , sounds colours, smells and FOOD! Very well planned and arranged by the tour operator and the Kasbah. A great location for teenage kids. We encompassed Trekking, the desert, the beach and Marrakech and it was such a fabulous mix of experiences.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Stay in the Kasbah du Toubkal, its a really special place. Take the advice of Kerrie and Gilly about where to go and where to stay as they really know the country and have great partners they work with in Morocco, the guides and drivers were so helpful and we really enjoyed spending time with them and learning about their culture and lives. We also trekked to the Kasbah's trekking lodge and stayed there which was remote and wonderful, I think one of the most peaceful places I have ever visited. Essaouria was a lovely chilled Moroccan beach resort, the Dar L'Oussia was an amazingly located Riad, in the Medina but right by the beach and port, and such a pleasure to stay in, the staff were again so helpful and friendly.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Definitely. All the guides and locals in Imlil knew the Kasbah and a lot of peoples livelihoods were supported by it. But the most special aspect is the support it gives to 'Education for all' which is a charity that supports education and boarding houses at senior schools in Asni for girls in the local community. These girls didn't used to be able to get this education as it was too difficult for them to travel. The local people were incredibly grateful for the jobs the Kasbah created and particularly the support it gave to educating their children.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
