1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The scenery. It was spectacular.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Practise walking long distances, and on a variety of terrains, before you head off. Also, it’s best to be prepared for all types of weather. In Orkney, it can be cold, wet, windy and warm in one day.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, all three. Visiting local communities is always a worthwhile investment financially. Our guide was conscientious when it came to litter and the environment and there was a commitment to supporting conservation too.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Excellent. The guide, Tim, was fantastic (I think that our group gelled very well because of him); the scenery, walks, fresh air, accommodation and food all made for a very enjoyable holiday. Thank you!Holiday Reviews
